Heartsaver CPR & AED with or without First Aid
Heartsaver courses are designed to prepare non-healthcare providers the ability to effectively administer CPR, including the use of AED’s to adult, child and/ or infant responses. These courses are typically required for lifeguards, physical trainers, restaurant workers, coaches, and similar groups. In addition to CPR & AED use, the Heartsaver course offers an additional, supplemental First Aid training component which can be done as a stand-alone course, or as an add-on the CPR & AED training.
We offer 4 variations:
Heartsaver CPR/AED Certification: Approximately 3 hours for CPR/AED (this is the first 3 hours of the time slot allotted)
Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid Certification: Approximately 4 hours
Heartsaver First Aid Certification: Approximately 1-2 hours
Heartsaver CPR/AED, CPR/AED/First Aid, or First Aid Skills Session (after completion of the online course): Approximately 1 hour *You will need to complete the course online & then demonstrate skills. (see description below).
Heartsaver Skills Sessions (Part 2 & 3)
Heartsaver Skills sessions are the hand-ons component, that combined with the online modules done directly through the American Heart Association, provide Heartsaver course completion. The hands on sessions are done in our facility, and are led by AHA instructors. Skills sessions cannot be attended without first completing the online modules and providing course completion certificates.
