Basic Life Support (BLS)

Basic Life Support provides those in the healthcare industry or healthcare students the instruction for CPR & AED use. The course teaches single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both pre-hospital and in-facility environments.

We offer 3 variations:

  • BLS Certification: approximately 3 hours

  • BLS Recertification: approximately 2.5-3 hours (you are give the opportunity to test out your skills earlier and sit for the exam earlier)

  • BLS Skills Session: approximately 1 hour (see description below)

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) SKILLS SESSION (PARTS 2 & 3)

BLS Skills sessions are the hands-on component, that combined with the online modules done directly through the American Heart Association, provide BLS course completion. The hands-on sessions are done in our facility and are led by AHA instructors. The sessions focus on performing CPR & AED on mannequins for single and multi-rescue scenarios. Skills sessions cannot be attended without first completing the online modules and providing course completion certificates.
